Apple TV Commercial!!

I like Apple and I think they are the best marketers ever and understand consumers like no other company. They have been showing these commercials on TV that make no sense at all. I understand you wanna show your advantages over your competitor, PC, but don't lie. I think that's so uncool, especially from Apple.
If you wanna show how good you are over PC, focus on your user interfcace and how cool and easy it is to use it, but don't go off lying that for example that PC can't do pictures and video!
I have an idea, why don't you make sure Safari is compatible with all websites so developers don't spend A LOT of time making sure their site is Safari-compatible!

Mark Cuban

Kinda funny Mark Cuban didn't win the championship. He is more animated than the coach and he was trash talking so much that the NBA fined him $250k. What a jackass. I wished he fought like this for something meaningful rather than a stupid sport. How about fighting diseases in the 3rd world countries or fighting poverty or something? Spend your energy elsewhere dude. I hope all the money you got from Yahoo for selling them Broadcast.com is making you happy, cuz you sure don't look like it.
Granted, I really enjoy your HDNet company.

Google tests Web-based spreadsheet to organize data

God bless Google. Revolutionize applications please. Forget about stupid advertising. I know, I know, that makes a lot of money, but this kind of work is what Internet was born to do. Kudos to you guys. Can’t wait to see what you guys are gonna do with AJAX. Instead of Sun who bitches about Microsoft’s domination, beat them in their own game and push them to innovate.

Google offers $90M 'click fraud' settlement

Well, it looks like I keep talking about Google, and it is not because I am obsessed with it, but because it is one of the greatest companies ever created and I am just amazed how the Street’s greed can potentially fuck it up; not likely, I just hate these morons out on the Wall Street moving and shaking everything.
So this news is not good for Google in any shape or form. Everybody knew about “click fraud” and it was just the matter of time for it to hit the fan. For those of you who don’t know about click fraud, in simple words, putting Google ads on your website and have your friends click on it. Google would charge the advertiser and gives part of the money to the website. Now they are settling for $90 million dollars which pocket change for Google, but I am sure more law suits will follow and I just hope it doesn’t drag the whole Web 2.0 revolution down, cuz I am working for one, and I want to make it big ;) Oh by the way, it is called MetroWize and it is social city and lifestyle guide. I am putting my heart and soul into it and I will be super pissed if market heads south and we can’t raise money to continue operation.

Civil War in Iraq? No, How is that possible.

Yea pretty shocking to find out Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds really hate each other and the only reason they hadn't killed each other was because of a tyrant like Saddam who scared the shit out of people so they couldn't move a finger. Now with western style democracy (perfectly suitable for a country that has never experienced any form of democracy) and not to mention the chaos in Iraq, these groups really have the opportunity to "express" themselves.

Not that I have a Chrystal ball or anything , but knowing that region very well, that was THE question I had before going into Iraq: How are you gonna deal with these groups in post-war situation? Cuz winning the battle was no brainer; the most powerful army in the world going against one of the weakest ones. It was ever so comforting not to hear a SINGLE word about this topic from our top officials. However, they did a good job ridiculing European countries who brought up the different religious groups problem in post-war Iraq... Freedom fries anyone?

The map shows different religious groups in Iraq and where they are situated, if you click on it, you get a more readable map.

Trouble in Paradise?

I never understood why people are shocked when they hear the obvious. It is like when people hear a couple who were abusive to each other split; people are still amazed that they are getting a divorce. No splitting here, but it should be to no surprise that Google is running into some fraud issues worldwide. For the love of God, who thought it was possible to post some advertising on a crappy website, have your friends keep clicking on the ads and you collect money?!
Sooner or later somebody was gonna wake up and smell the coffee. I personally never believe in money machine business plans, IT DOESN’T EXIST. So for people who thought Google was gonna be THE money machine, I am sorry to say, you are dead wrong, AGAIN Mr. Wall Street know-it all.
Having said that, many good things came out of Google:
1. Google has helped establish a Web 2.0 revolution and economy.
2. A great American company is formed.
3. It has created a handful of billionaires and several hundred millionaires at Google and Wall Street; they hopefully help the economy grow.
4. It will force Google to come up with great services to compensate for the ad sense revenue loss; good for us consumers.
